THOMAS ELDERFIELD

Architecture defines the tone and ideals of an era. My work is an exploration into the state of our man made and natural environments in the 21st century. How, if at all, do these worlds coincide, or do they more regularly collide? By studying how urbanisation has affected the natural environment across different eras we can see whether nature has been protected or prohibited.  My work examines historically different architectures across Europe through which we can sense who has truly shown consideration towards a sustainable environment.
